If you haven’t been to Henkel’s by Forgotten Lands, you are missing out on a serious way, if you want to plant beautiful flowers that won’t break the bank! The selection is incredible! The minute you get there, you’ll likely be greeted, because they are super friendly here, in addition to being SO WELCOMING, they are super knowledgeable & very eager to help! When you make a return trip, you’ll again get a warm greeting & they will remember you, which for some reason is just so damn heart warming these days! As for the reason you go-the plants!! They are so obviously well cared for, you will see the difference that true care by a family owned business makes. Night & day different from the big box stores! Go check Henkel’s out! You’ll quickly be calling Henkel’s your favorite garden shop, just like I do! Happy gardening!!

A Lovely little Pittsburgh gem—hidden away from the maddening crowd. I bought a very sizable healthy looking brown fig for around $15, a few assorted perennials for my window boxes, was greeted by their customer concierge (a sweet friendly canine) and on my way in around 45 min. Went there 4/26, and wandered around amidst the beautiful buds, blooms and bulbs. They are a small and tidy operation. I believe one of the proprietors told me that they are usually open until they sell out, sometime near mid to late June (please correct me if I’m mistaken here). They are hoping to have an autumn season again this year; if you miss them at the beginning of summer, you might catch them in September for mums and such. Great place. WILL BE BACK. Tired of corporate everything? This place was a balm.

Many different varieties and bright beautiful colors this year. Already planted lots of perennials and today got annuals/herbs for my planters. Reasonable in price. Dan is extremely helpful and knowledgeable along with Al. Love coming here each year!
